Reading Books

I finished! Loved the series. It has been fun watching Rachel read Twilight. She is so excited. This is her first "big" novel. Isaac and Shaun also liked the series, but Zach makes fun of us all because its not his thing. When I was a kid I loved to read, but lost interest while I was in high school. I didn't really start reading again until Shaun gave me the first three books in the "Work and The Glory" series. I read all three in a couple of days. Then I had lots of little ones and didn't read as often as I would have liked. Way too tired at night. Lately I have rediscovered that I LOVE to read. Reading way too much. Trying now to find some balance. I have also just finished the "Great and Terrible Series". Another fantastic series. Hoping to get my boys to read it this year. It was very thought provoking. I have discovered that this TV girl actually prefers reading to watching tv. It is a lot more fun!!!

Hi my name is Kelli. I have a friend who suggested I blog because it is a great way to journal and keep in touch with family and friends. I thought I would give it a try. I have spent about 8 hours getting it set up and I haven't even added pictures yet. But I've been thinking as I have been putting this together that this may be just what I need to get better at keeping my journal. So we will see how it goes. Shaun, Isaac, and Zachary are at scout camp and haven't a clue what we are up to, so I hope they like the idea when they get home. All the other children have had a blast getting their sites up and running. Of course their favorite part was the music. My next challenge will be to add some pictures. We'll see how long that takes me.
